ULTRACASE

ABS / POLYPROPYLENE

These tough, injection molded, O-ring sealed carrying cases protect contents from dust and water. Choose between ABS or Polypropylene materials and adapt your case to the perfect specifications.

ABS: ABS is exceptionally durable, tough, and better resists becoming brittle in cold, harsh weather. ABS resin is field repairable and interior components can be solvent welded to the case shell.

Polypropylene: Our Polypropylene is automobile grade with micro-cellular foam for weight reduction and solid additives for shape stability. This results in a case that is lighter in weight and more chemically resistant. The design of the case, based on this polypropylene resin blend, brings up to a 20 percent reduction in weight from the ABS version.

WATERPROOF SEAL

In our ABS cases, the main O-ring is made from hollow silicone rubber tubing which is chemically resistant and retains it’s shape with age.
Our Polypropylene cases feature a Neoprene rubber O-ring which provides an excellent seal.

ATTACHMENT POINTS

Each UK UltraCase has 2 molded in attachment points for a shoulder strap and 2 (diameter: 1/4 in / 0,635 cm) pad lock loops for security.

SMART LATCHES

The built in pressure valve equalizes internal pressure only when the latch is opened, preventing entry of contaminating gasses during transport. Our cases are uniquely air and water tight to 1 m underwater.
UK UltraCases have a proprietary spring loaded latch which is easily opened and closed. However, it remains tightly shut when dropped.
